Cimetidine as an anti-androgen

#3

There's a ton of information available online about Cimetidine through a Google search in regards to it acting as an anti-androgen. I don't think there's any interaction with WP.

I took Cimetidine fairly regularly about five+ years ago. Many of the studies I read showed a high degree of Leydig Cell apoptosis. (It can kill your balls). These studies were conducted with doctor prescribed doses of 800-1,600mg a day. Cimetidine also activates Prolactine, as well.

There's a fair amount of research that Lotus has posted in the Project-X thread. Just do a keyword search at the bottom of the page in the Project-X thread for any subject that you're interested in.

One thing I noticed when I was on a mid-high daily dose was that my entire package would shrink in a matter of days. I did see a temporary boobie boost due to elevated prolactin levels, but really not much more.

Lotus highlights some of the risks of long term use of Cimetidine therapy in the Project-X thread. Plus, there's a shitload of studies posted online if you google specific terms along with Cimetidine.

When it was approved as an OTC drug in the late 70s it was seen as a miracle cure breakthrough in the press. Yet, they knew the danger of Leydig Cell apoptosis even back then! That always gets me that they approved it for use by the general public.
