Can you ask a doctor to leave something off of your medical records? Do these records follow you? I’d like not to be put on any kind of list of “mentally ill” people, though it’s hard to imagine telling the doctor with a straight face, yeah, I took these pill just ‘cause.
for me gender dysphoria was diagnosed after meeting with both a gender care specialist and a therapist. It’s in my medical record now. But honestly, I don’t care. I’m not mentally ill, nor would I categorize this condition as such. However, I do see your point. Some would rather not have this following them around forever. While I had results on PM, I felt it was appropriate to work directly with a medical professional on HRT. The last thing I wanted was to drop dead from an @home regiment. That’s not say PM is not a safe and effective procedure. Just like anything else, there’s certain levels of risks.
