Really wild, Tomi, but I won't be trying that either. 
DMSO is a solvent. A doctor told me many years ago that if it is used too much on knees or whatever, it can dissolve the attachment point of tendons or ligaments. Yikes!
IDK if that is true but it sure scared me. I had used it a couple of times on my knee before he told me that.
Recently I have used Voltaren, which is an OTC topical Ibuprofen, in a gel base with DMSO. That stuff works great but I still worry a little about the DMSO. Oh well.
