One more milestone has been reached.
I went to collect a registered letter. This letter came from the court where I filed my request for gender change.
I filed my request on October 16, 2023, the conclusion was posted on March 19, 2024 almost 5 months later.
After the regulatory 15 days, my birth certificate will be modified by the state services, the words “born male” will be replaced by “born female”.
I will be for the French state, and in the eyes of all, a woman.
It’s when I have redone my identity card that I will realize how far I have come.
