Asprin is a blood thinner. I used to take them to help acclimate to high elevation backpacking trips.

You could try a baby aspirin a day as a precautionary measure.

Good thinking but I'm not sure if that would be strong enough. Unfortunately I already use a lot of aspirin or ibuprofen daily for other reasons
