Thank you, Lotus, for reminding about these important matters regarding D3 and DHT.
I would just add my conclusions after studying a lot various research articles about vitamin D3: The generally recommended 600-800 IU (10-15 micrograms) is really low. It is usually sufficient for utilization of calcium. However, for maximum benefits it is too low, and that 4000 IU / 100 ug is in my opinion a good amount, and not at all too much or maximum. In any case, if wanting to go over that amount, or being just a bit worried, I would recommend discussions with a doctor and checking blood cholecalciferol level. For immunosystem to work well and for general well-being it should be >30 ng/ml (Others say > 75 nmol/l), while some researchers propose even higher levels. I would opt to that 4000 IU/100 ug daily intake. It is far, far below any known "overdose" limit for normal people.
Then back to this site's main theme: Because it is advantageous also for feminization / breast development, all the better!
