It can be tricky to position the full breast cups, especially toward the outer edges, I've found. I think positioning is the trick, though. Keep playing around with it.
I've used Supple Nips nipple cups for a few years on and off and love how my nips have become permanently erect. Here's something else you might want to try. Go on eBay and search "cupping set". These things are sold for the Asian-originating practice of pain relief and healing using suction cups around the body. But there is one type sold that looks like a larger version of Supple Nips. They seem to be silicon rubber and are much thicker than Supple Nips, but interesting to use on the breast and nipple. I've bought a couple of sets, which include sizes about 1/4" to 2" in diameter.
