I had good success with WP.
It was not for me, and I took it alone for a good year or so for hair loss before finding this site. It's not really an anti-androgen though, it just blocks conversion of T to DHT, which should raise T levels if anything.
I did have complete loss of libido when I started PM though, and quit for awhile, and it came back and when I went back on PM and it didn't go away again. I think it just takes time for the mind to adjust to sexuality on lower T levels. It's different than being on high T. I'm much more selective on who and what situations I am turned on by, where as before I wanted to sleep with pretty much every woman in the world in any situation.
With PM and reishi extract my libido was low but I was ok with it. It was like you described, I lost the pressing urgency but I could summon it when needed. However growth was very slow. Then I added progesterone cream and within a few weeks I had breast buds and growth was noticeable but my libido flatlined.
Searching around the web I found this wiki article which stated..."Progestogens in general are able to suppress gonadal testosterone production in men by a maximum of about 70 to 80% or to just above castrate levels when used at sufficiently high doses." So that explains that.
Low libido is ok but I find no libido really unpleasant and in fact it kills my desire to even grow breasts. Still, I'm considering restarting that regimen for 6-8 weeks, get some solid growth, then go off it and try a maintenance dose of PM to hopefully keep it or most of it anyway.
