While I was in the hospital (a couple weeks ago) they did several CBC's, a comprehensive metabolic panel, a basic metabolic panel, Hep C rna quant, Hiv 1, 2 and ab tests, GLYCOHEM, LIPID PANEL, CK/MB + troponin, B TYPE NAT PEP, mag and phos test, etc.. in fact I had three CBC's and two different Comprehensive metabolics done as well as two different basic metabolics. I had gone in for a suspected heart attack, they found some other Issues to look at, my anion gap is very low as well as my calcium levels and a cpl other things that suggested I might have had cirrhosis due to having hep c.. come to find out I don't have hep c.. or hiv, or anything else, I just have a cruddy diet and a latent TB infection that I'll be getting meds to get rid of prophylacticly. The other thing they were worried about was my platelet count, normal is 150k - 450k mine was 93k and ranged between 93k and 108k. Basically, other than my diet and the TB, I'm healthy as a horse. Diet wise, I have always struggled to remember to eat.. I have no hunger response at all so if I don't remember to eat, I might go several days without eating at all. So my body is on the edge of malnutrition and it's having an effect on me. I now have a program that pops up on my computer and reminds me to eat XD.
