Thats ok honey there is nothing to forgive lol it happens, as far as saw palmetto goes, you will not get breast growth just from that alone, it will help lower your testosterone aswell as having health benifits for a man as in your prostate, but you will need to take somethng estrogen based like PM or progesterone based which is Bovine overy, that is what i used. Other herbs offer similier propertys but i do now know too much about them hun sorry. As far as a base goes i dont think there is as such, different amounts effect different people so again its trial an error i took saw palmetto for 5 months and i believe i was taking 600mg a day but it caused weight gain and cellulite for me and it turned it i did not need it anyway so i stopped it. But the first signs would be tenderness and maybe tingles and aches followed by swelling and small lumps behind your nipples which are breast buds. These will be very tender if not painfull for some time and they should slowly enlarge and grow, your nipples may enlarge or they may not, some transgender people grow quite large breasts but with little increase in there nipples or areola it just varies. So they are first signs to look out for hun and just to warn you growing breasts is quite painful and you might develop other lumps in your breasts, but dont worry they are just areas of breast tissue that are developing. I know there is alot to take in but just read as much as possible and you should come up with a good routine if you notice nothing after 3 months or so then try another routine or adding something to it its all trial and error honey.
