Hi all,
I know this thread is old but I am searching for ways to make my areola larger and would like to let you know what I am about to try this week (electric breast feeding milk pumping device).
Basically I have tried progesterone, maca, PM, the noogleberry nipple pump and the Avent Niplettes etc to make breasts bigger in the hope that my areola would enlarge - but I really just need areola bigger asap and find the pumping system really awkward.
One good little trick I've used is to spray some fake tan into a little cap and then paint around the perimeter of my nipple. The fake tan gives it a browny tinge around the areola and therefore the areola looks bigger. The fake tan ring lasts about 4 days.
The problem is the colour match isn't the best - and maybe I just need to shop around and try other brands - but it's a great quick fix when you're desperate.
So today I did something crazy - I bought an expensive electric Philips Avent Breast pump - the type of breast pump a breastfeeding women uses to express her milk.
It's great! All I have to do is plug it in and it sucks and pumps away for as long as you want! (and no, no milk comes out)
The nipple cover is so large that it pulls in a bit of my breast tissue so I have a good feeling I may see results if I do this every day.
After 10 minutes of constant in and out suction my nipples feel sensitive right now too (which is good because I don't have a lot of feeling in my nipples).
Has anyone ever tried this or can offer some hints? How long? Should I add any cream to nipples while doing it etc?
Do you think this may help enlarge the areola?
