I think it is some sort of brain difference that makes us the way we are. I am sure that if they examine our brains closely they would find not only male characteristics but female ones as well. Truth be known our bodies don't know right away what gender we will become. So when we start out it gives us both. Then one becomes dominant over the other. Most of the time that means a male or female but what happens if instead of a 99% to 1% split happens what if for some of us it's closer to 75%Male 25% Female or even closer than that?
from what i read there is a big difference in the size of the hypothalamus, in transsexuals/transgendered people is same size as females or close to same size. unfortunately due to its location u can only physically get at it through autopsy. it is purported that a diminished amount of one hormone in-vitro may or may not be responsible for a difference in size of 'non-conforming female/aka bio-males with gender dysphoria. if i can find that info i will add to this posting
