I think the answer to your question is yes and no.
I doubt pm is physically addicting, as others and myself have gone cold turkey from pm for several weeks or more. However, can pm be addicting on a psychological level because of the improvement in well-being that it may bring about? Possibly. I think a number of members report getting grumpy and short-tempered when abstaining from pm. Others say their interest in crossdressing or porn returns.
As far as seeing ferris wheels, it may just be a odd one-time aberration. We do have one member who saw a rhino when she went cold-turkey with pm.
