I've also started growing my hair out (wife keeps telling me to get it cut), but with this and the weight loss most people say I look so much younger!I'm also certain some of this wieght loss is muscle mass, but alot has been from around the midsection, as all of my shorts and pants fall right off if I don't wear a belt.
Like you Kari not only have I given up many of the foods I enjoyed but I've also given up the daily alcohol as well. I've actually had two 3 weeks periods in the last few months where I didn't have one drink! That's gotta be a record I've not had since my Navy underway days!
Hey Scotti,
Congrats on... everything! Personally, my single minded focus on breast enlargement has taken a back seat to other things that I think will be more effective towards feminizing my appearance. A slender mid-section is way more noticeable and could be construed as feminine but it's at least much better for your health than carrying a spare tire. The hair? well, that's obviously much more common among females. I LOVE my hair more and more with every additional inch! It's about an inch over my ears now and I have the proud distinction of being the longest haired guy my hairdresser sees. Although in my neck of the woods, long haired guys are as rare as Amish electricians and mine isn't even all that long yet. I love it when the wind blows it into my eyes and face and I love flipping it out from under my collar. If I tuck it behind my ears, it really looks feminine! I've been getting lots of compliments on my appearance in general although I think it has more to do with the 20 pounds that I'm missing, hopefully soon joined by another 15-20. I'm not worried about gaining the weight back because this is a lifestyle change not a goal oriented weight loss program. I can't go back to the old diet because it was responsible for several health problems I was having. My body just wont tolerate all the carbohydrates (grains, cereals, starches and sweeteners) I used to eat. The consequences are not worth the pleasure of consuming them anymore.
As for the alcohol, "they" say it's not especially good for you so going without is a good thing I guess. I might have little wine half a dozen times per year and I could easily pass it by even then so what do I know. ...A vanilla Coke with grenadine??? Now that's a temptation!!! YUMMY...
