I haven't felt the need to tell my doctor up till now about my transgender personality and my growing breasts. I'm in the process of changing doctors now though, so I'm considering coming out to him or her since my total T level was recently tested as being well below normal for a man. My breast growth is becoming very apparent now, as well. Here in the U.S. a fasting blood test is standard procedure for a medical check up/physical, but I have to specifically ask for a T and/or E test as well as various other special tests, for example, Vitamin D.

Yeah because I just had a physical and had blood tests done (found out that I'm deficient in Vitamin D). I mentioned things like checking my hormone levels, etc. but my physician wouldn't just authorized these blood tests simply because I want to, and I'm not at the point where I would say I'm thinking of DIY HRT. She would just change the subject or ask why.
