Ok, had to do some lookin around for some answers. I don't know abou the dmso. I found some links to articles on the net.

The second seams to be the better article.
While you want the best skin penetration possible. I would be concerned about possible side effects from it. I realize a lot of people use it worldwide with little to no side effects reported. The smell is a factor as well. plus the need for regular kidney and liver checkups while using it. Due to possible damage if you take too high of a level. Less is definitely more with any solvent. You might PM the member to see how things went. I would look at Dimethyl Isosorbide or an esential oil for penetration. Hazel uses it in her skin batter for stretch mark repair. http://www.breastnexus.com/showthread.php?tid=5151&highlight=eucalyptus+oil
DMI has been known to cause allergic reaction in the eyes. Howerver, It is widely used in the cosmetics industry. Unless you need the extra benefits of DSMO for pain and swelling relief. I would be careful in its use. Just not enough research out there on it.
