Little moment of life
Well, there are moments of comfort with the people I know, that is, family, friends, colleagues, those who know me.
And the uncomfortable moments with people who don't know me.
1st outdoor experience with a client.
Several months ago, we delivered safety valve checking stations for the Paris metro trains (Saint-Ouen-Sur-Seine).
And today (Wednesday 09/13/2023) I went with a colleague to put them into operation.
They never took me for anything other than a woman coming to operate the checking stations, there were 4 to 10 people who maintained the metro trains, sometimes 6, sometimes 10, sometimes 4, depending on their availability, so I can explain to them how the check stations work.
A most conclusive day for me.
I am what I am: a woman.
At the end of the intervention, I was entitled to a thank you ma'am, goodbye ma'am.
I am very happy.

An experience lasting almost 4 hours, I had some apprehension, which quickly dissipated.
I didn't behave other than like a woman. I was natural. My voice is rather convincing.
This could only have gone well
Even my colleague on the way back was happy for me.

New step in my journey, the renewal of my driving license with my first names.
When we know that in France, the driving license is sometimes used as an identity document, this is a further step forward.
Furthermore, in France, the driving license has no gender. There is no "M" or "F"
This is one more document to put in my file to change my sex.
