i have tried to do pics with no luck it says there to large bigger then 500 kilobytes not sure what to do any help would be great thanks

Assuming you're on Windows: open image in Paint, then resize it. Save image, then check the file size. Rinse and repeat.

If you're using Windows I suggest using the "snipping tool." I use this for my pics and it always lowers the size of the file to a suitable amount for the site.
