Question about adding herbs... - wantingmore72 - 14-11-2014

I have been on and off PM for just a tad over a year now. This past summer I started adding reishi with it. Just one in the morning because I am pretty sensitive to it. So I was thinking, do people use spearmint with reishi? I know blocking DHT with reishi has helped, but would adding spearmint along with the reishi and PM help in other departments besides breasts?

I am just curious if anyone has tried em together.

I don't have any knowledge to add but I am currently taking spearmint and I'm thinking of trying reishi mushrooms instead. I have been looking for dosage recommendations but haven't found any searching the forums so far.

Reishi does seem to help me, I had a weird reaction the first time and have kept it to 1-2 in the morning because I am pretty sensitive to it. Apparently from what I read on here is the testosterone ramps up in the a.m. I went ahead and started adding spearmint too. So far things are good. I noticed my hair growing back in slower.

I take two - 500mg caps of reishi in the morning. I bought from Host Defense, all organic. Their bottle recommends this for a daily dosage for "heart health." Also available from them in an extract.

I do take off one day a week, usually Sunday, from it and the Peony Root extract.

Do you see a noticeable difference elaine? I am thinking about upping mine some, but I had such a bad reaction the first time. I dunno. I ordered the Brain Forza reishi from amazon, it seems to work well but was a little pricey for what it is. I think i am enjoying the spearmint a little more, my beard is actually looking more sparse. Not sure if it is just slowing certain growth cycles or not.

The Host Defense brand is very pure. Never had any reaction to it.
I see folks selling on amazon.....got mine at the local Health Food since they carry all the HD products both caps and extracts.

Bottle says you can take with or without food, seems pretty flexible. i've had worse burps and stomach pains from strong vitamins.

Yes, your beard will slow down growing and get softer. You notice some other things too..... moods can change in some....it has some for me. For the better.lol.

I paid £5 per bottle of 60x 600mg capsules (Swanson brand).
