Breast Growth For Genetic Males

Full Version: what's up with those body builders anyway?

I was doing some internet searching for liquid extracts of some of the herbs I am taking, thinking they might be absorbed more easily (but unless you practically gargle with them, they still have to be absorbed through the GI system, so there may not be an absorption advantage) and came across some hilarious "info" on fenugreek. It seems that the body building world is using fenugreek with the idea that it increases testosterone in men.

Try a search using "fenugreek extract testosterone" and you'll see what I mean. Here's one example from 2005: http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0...n13653752/

If FG does increase testosterone in males, we might want to reconsider taking it as part of a male NBE program. The research cited in the link above was done with another herb (Tribulus terrestris) and NOT fenugreek. They made the FG connection since FG and the studied herb both contain "high amount of furostanolic saponins. Therefore, fenugreek extract works in a manner similar to Tribulus--elevating testosterone via increases in the amount of LH and DHEA the body produces."

I suppose it is possible that it can have that effect on males and not females, since the scant info I read above indicates it works partly by stimulating the pituitary production of luteinizing hormone which stimulates the testes to produce testosterone; hence the effect in males and not females. Another substance supposedly stimulates the adrenals to produce DHEA which would then be metabolized into testosterone.

Whew! Getting way to complicated for me. And way too much guess work. In any event, I know body builders are "plagued" by the occurrence of 'bitch tits' so I don't think they've researched this completely, and the amount of misinformation coming out of that part of the fitness industry is legendary. They could be wrong.

Just couldn't help but laugh: as we discuss taking it for NBE, they think it elevates testosterone.

Yikes! and ROFL at the same time!

lol! i've never heard of bitch tits. that is hilarious!

but why is it that male body builders get bitch tits while female body builders gets no tits unless they get implants?

Yup, they do moan about getting 'bitch tits' !LOL

I'm not 100% sure but I believe it is to do with all the excess testosterone produced by the mega-exercising being converted to estrogen via the aromatase route.
I have a mega alpha bitch, a deerhound bred to hunt coyote. If you are human, how lovely is she. If you are a dog, learn the meaning of "bitch"; everything has to surrender, abjectly, or be put in it's place; the more a dog looks aggressive, the more it annoys her. Dog packs are run, by the Alpha bitch, with a rod of iron; she is the no.1 hunter. These dogs are recorded as beating mastiffs, in dog fights and can kill a fully grown red deer stag, unaided. BE PROUD OF BITCH TITS!

beautiful dogs indeed! it's one of the breed i really love.
and i know what you mean about owning (or better, i prefere to say having for companion) an alpha bitch, i had one, a komondor, unforgettable...
No one owns Isla; she chooses to give you her companionship. That is what makes them so special. The oldest breed of british dog and with a longer history, of being house dogs, than any other breed. Why on earth they are so unusual, I do not understand. Isla is tall, but weighs in at around 56 lbs; by no means a big dog, but she keeps getting refered to as a big dog! The complex rewards, of sharing you life, with a deerhond are just so amazing! Get bitch tits and be proud!
Hey all,

Sorry for butting in..but I think this thread is too funny..well not laughing at what you all wrote just that it went from bitch tits to dogs...lol lolBig Grin unless I missed a point between the 2.

I know what you mean. mine being watchdogs, sometimes i had the impression that she was convinced that she owned me and i had to remind her that she was undoubtely the alpha bitch, but i was the alpha male (i had up to eight of them at the same time and I had to integrate in the pack and become the alpha male, to keep everything in order).
the koms are as well a very old breed, they date from 13th century, and they are tall and big, my princess was over 50kg, unluckily they are not house dog at all, unless you want to live in a mess of of wool, so you can enjoy them just outdoor...
and they are as well so unusual, starting from the appearence. i had many dogs, in my life, but these were simply different...

well, it seems we have a couple of cynophilists, here... ;-)
Komovars? Another breed used to hunt wolves! Just that the deerhound/ Irish greyhound, have been house dogs for near on 3000 years. For those, who do not get the point, Bithces rule and men are an irritating waste of space. I employ both and it is the males, who do my head in.

komondor http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Komondor
actually they were not really hunting wolves, they preferred to wait for them to come... ;-)
i read somewhere years ago that they where breeded to seem the tallest sheep of the
flock, to attract the wolves' pack on them, and then, well... you can imagine
