I have heard that NBE herbs cause weight gain.
Do some herbs cause more gain than others?

I don't want to gain weight, I want to lose weight.

If there IS any difference among them --
Which herb or herbs would cause the least weight gain, on this list?
Which would cause the most weight gain?

1. Pueraria Mirifica
2. Fenugreek
3. Fennel
4. Wild Yam

Perhaps the answer is that they are all the same, more-or-less?

Thanks
I have wondered the same. I take hops for NBE. The other thing that I wonder about is taking herbs to suppress testosterone. I thought that low testosterone can cause weight gain. I take reishi and a doctor verified that my testosterone was low. I struggle trying to lose 10 to 20 pounds. Green tea is supposed to help people lose weight and I drink several cups of it. There are foods listed for NBE and most of them are very healthy. I try to stick with those. I am also saving money for a treadmill for more exercise.
A suggestion.  If you are trying to burn more calories and do not have much money, a stepper platform is a cheap way to get started.  A step platform can be purchased for as little as $20 US, while a treadmill can cost $500 to $1000.

I read on a fitness website that weight loss is 80% diet and 20% exercise.
I was 78kg
I went down to 71.5kg after 2 months purely from core exercise on a yoga mat
Contracted covid and some vacation saw I gained to around 74kg.
After 1 week of core exercise, I am now around 72.5kg.
All my sets of exercise will cost my around 45 minutes.

I used to do intense cycling. 40km under 90 minutes with average of 150bpm heart rate.
1 week cycle around 200km.
2 months can shed around 10kg too.
However with Covid, I prefer to perform core exercise.

So, if you ask my opinion, do not waste money on indoor running or devices.

Get a yoga mat and a pair of knee guard.
Search online/Youtube for Slimming Core Exercise.

Diet wise, my breakfast is now consist of protein shake(to recover from exercise) + more greenies
Lunch and dinner as per normal.

With my current regime, I expect go down in weight, and mainly waist size.
Initial waist size: 35
Current waist size: 32/33
Current waist target: 29"
Final waist target: 27"

I agree with Elly.

Exercise can be done outdoors with no cost. Sensible diet, eating negative calories foods, yes they exist and exercise will counter any effects that hormone therapy may have on the body.

Running is boring but will do the job, crunches too but go for stamina workout to lose weight only, muscle gain isn't desirable. However diet can become an obsession and difficult to control when you see results.
