A bit of backstory... When I was a child in junior high, I started gaining weight and eventually what appeared to be breasts. I got berated constantly when changing in gym class for these. Got in to a few fights for these. I was on meds for various conditions since before I hit puberty too, which likely had the biggest impact here. I ended up developing these right alongside, and even bigger than, some of the girls, almost to the point where I wondered if I was going through some sort of pseudo-female puberty.

Still, in my later years (I'm 29 now), I began to wonder now if the breasts I have are "real breasts", or if they are just fat build up. I've read differences between say, gyno and fat, but I can't tell still. I hear it also isn't unusual for boys now a days to have some gyno too in early maturity, but it is supposed to subside as you grow out of puberty. These that I have however, never really subsided for me...

My question then is, which form of "boobs" do I have? Fat, or Tissue? Many often say there is supposed to be some sort of hardness right below the nipple if you have breast tissue, but what I feel is several smaller, almost pea to smallish grape size, radiating in a circular pattern of build up around the areola. It is almost like a volcano shape, a concave form starting from the nipple and building up to a circular ledge that extends to the edge of the areola, though if I push a bit deeper past that hollow it feels like there may be something larger below.

Sorry if this isn't a place to post such a question, but I've been going through much personal dilemma and confusion lately that got me curious to know the answer to this. I've attached images too if that helps.
I’m not sure exactly what to tell you. It looks like your gyne was caused by your medicines. But w/o knowing more, I’m not a good judge of how things interact. But, if you’re looking to enhance what you’ve already got, then you have a hell of a head start, and you’ve come to the right place.

Sorry if I wasn't super clear. My question is more, does it seem like I have legit breast tissue and potentially already budded judging by description and pictures alongside fat, or does it seem more like just pure fat? Not how they came to be like that. Because indeed I'm pretty sure it was the meds that caused that. But now, yeah, I am considering embracing the condition and trying to enhance what I was given.
To me, it seems like you have legit breast tissue and potentially already budded judging by description and pictures alongside fat, yes. It seems like you do.

It also seems like you’re going to do very well, embracing what you already have. That’s quite an impressive head-start that you’ve got going on.

Well thank you for the responses. I'm glad to see communities like this exist. I only just started trying to figure this stuff out so it's nice to have a knowledgeable base of people experienced on subjects like this to help out newbies like me.
one test for breast tissue vs fat is to raise your arms.
If your breasts disappear, then its fat what remains is tissue.
At any rate you have a lovely start, and if this is the direction you want to go, you have a great head start.

I understand completely, had the same questions and dilemma myself.  There is nothing to be embarrassed about.

Based on your description of the structures behind your nipples and the shape and nipple development I would say that you have lovely breasts - actual breast tissue and not just fat. Your description matches what mammary glands are like. Look at some anatomical diagrams of breasts and you'll see.  I don't think you're fully developed yet, but you are somewhere in the middle of the tanner stages. I bet they would really be spectacular with some nbe.

For most guys, adolecent gyno goes away in a couple years after puberty, but not for all. A few of us get to keep our budding breasts and sometimes develop beyond buds. being overweight can also encourage breast tissue growth.  Society says we should run off to the nearest surgeon and get them cut off...I say, fuck society. Breasts are awesome. You could probably benefit from the support a bra can provide if you don't wear one already. It will help keep the giggle down and give you a nice shape. A simple sports bra is a good place to start.

I guess it's mostly tissue then, because little vanishes when I do that. That does sound promising if I try to take this further.

Thanks for the encouragement. I do want to start trying to see if I can make them "bloom" to their fullest as it were, but I'm almost a little afraid of how much bigger they might become. Having slightly larger breasts and more womanly erect nipples does sound thrilling though, and everyone I know already knows I've had boobs for years so it probably won't be hard to hide any changes if I have to.

And yeah, I was very much confused about myself and tried hiding a lot of the ideas of becoming more feminine away when I was younger, but over the years that side of myself has only gotten stronger and more wanting. In fact, just thinking about doing this has me wanting to take care of my body and myself more than ever if I can get desired outcomes. I also almost wonder too if my body might have had some sort of natural inclination for breasts, because from what I can tell, the meds I took when I was young only had a less than 1% chance to cause breast growth.

As for the question of bras, no, I have not really worn them before. Just the few I tried on in secret back when I was a young teen and first got these breasts. Obviously they weren't entirely my size though. Thought about trying a sports bra to start as you said however. Maybe then if I feel bold enough I can move on to other types after.

It appears that you are predisposed to having droopy breasts, so wearing a sports bra will help a lot while you are developing your breasts. That said, I find it hard to get sports bras to fit me nicely, since I have wide shoulders and a 42 chest size around the strap. But I buy from Amazon, and you can get the right sizes there. Just refine your criteria in your search.

Secondly, if you are like this even before even starting NBE you are probably going to explode with PM and an anti-androgen like WP or RM.

You're a lucky girl! I was completely flat before I started, and in 6 months I have probably added 1 1/2 inches to my breasts.

If you wanted to know whether its just fat or tissue, my suggestion is to take two fingers and "pinch" the body of your breast. If you feel a harder grainier texture deeper behind the nipple its probably breast tissue, and it will feel different than say pinching the fat around your stomach, or hips.

That's how I notice the difference. I definitely have a harder, more muscle-like texture behind my breasts, with fat more noticeable higher above and to the side of my breasts.

Grow them! Its a beautiful thing. Once your nipples become alive its pure eroticism all day long.  Wink

It is strange. I often hated them in junior high because of the mocking, but now I feel so lucky to have them! And yeah, it certainly feels grainier and more painful to squeeze until I get to the further edges. I always supposed they were real tissue, but I think getting confirmations was a way for me to muster the desire to further increase what I have. Fat wouldn't have been exciting and I was almost afraid that is all they were.

Not really certain how to measure my bra size however. I did my best with the info I could find, and I think I am a 38 or 37 band if I go snug. Not sure if I am measuring the bust right though.

With the support I've gotten here however, and my own personal desires, I think I am going to try and let them grow to become the best breasts they can be, and it is an exciting prospect! I can't wait for the nipple improvement especially!

For my program, I already started trying massage, and I think I am going to start with PM soon at a low 500 dose to see how it feels, then try to go to the standard 1000 at the very least. After that I may throw in WP or RM.

What is more recommended between those anyway? WP or RM?
