Hi all, I’m a straight married male 46, and ever since puberty I’ve hated my body hair and course nature to my skin, really hated it - it’s taken me until 18 months ago to open up to my wife about it, at first she was sceptical but after I started to extend my shaving beyond my private area, she’s noticed I seem happier about myself (and so have I!) feels more like me  Wink
Since then I’ve tried full body waxing but was just so expensive and not long lasting , I’ve now moved on to laser treatment and had four so far, this time tho the therapist said maybe I should look at the hormone options to avoid the hair follicles returning and would give me the more femine skin I desperatly seek in its appearance.
Has anyone else been in this position before and if so what route did they take (female hormone treatments) I am worried though about breast development as I don’t wish to transition at all but ideally only want the feminine skin, without all the other changes that come with taking the medication - I realise I’ll have to compromise but it’s to what degree and how severe the unwanted side effects might be ? I would be very grateful for any thoughts or experiences - thank you so much
Most people take 1500mg (+) to get any effect on feminizing the male body. It takes 1.5-3.0 (+) years to do so. You can probably get luxurious soft skin with just 500mg a day (one pill). Spearmint Tea will dramatically slow body hair growth, too. Good Luck.

Might add a small dosage of anti-androgen daily.
That`s going to be a tall order with just oral administration only! I think you`ll get more milage of a good good skin care routine and topical treatments with a much lower risk of Other feminisation. getting a good body moisturiser after a bath and shower will be really helpful, avoid harsh soaps and detergents, and Keep Hydrated!!! you need several litres a day of water everyday and keep away from excess sunlight, alcohol and Defo do NOT smoke! a daily vitamin A, E and C combo will help too.

Thank you Katie, I agree with and appreciate all your comments - Perhaps though in my initial post I should have emphasised that although I’m having laser treatment (had four so far) it is becoming clear that without some form of hormone treatment my testosterone is going to fight back as it becoming difficult to clear my skin of hair follicles esp on my legs and buttocks, to put it crudely, currently it looks like a plucked chicken  Sad so it seems I need to work in tandom with some form of oral treatment to reduce the follicles  -  I feel I’ve started a journey that will be fraught with problems but am very determined to see it though, and the more I discuss this openly the more I feel I need to do this, after all life is hard at the best of times for most of us, so achieving these goals (or close to it) would for me be such a relief and hopefully continue to make me a happier more contented person.
Your suggestions are without doubt very valid and I’ll definitely need to incorporate these into my daily life to maintain and nourish this new feminine skin that I hope to achieve  Rolleyes Thanks again Katie

Thank you Cat, yes it appears a suppressor like that is also key to achieving my goal, not sure how to overcome the reduction in libido that it would also cause tho, as for at least the past decade I have been suffering with errectile dysfunction - life is never simple is it....
In my opinion, oral supplementation or hormonal tinkering is completely unnecessary.  Daily shaving with Norelco body groom has done the trick for me.  Initially, there were bumps.  Eventually, skin gets used to it.  I have always had problems with short hairs trying to curl back into my skin, but daily shaving, over time, seems to gain a cooperation between hair and skin.  An epilator works great for coarse hairs that you wish were not so coarse.  Epilated hairs do eventually grow back, but each time they do, they grow back as finer hairs.  The fine hairs are not nearly as inclined to become ingrown.

Hi, thank you for your response - everyone’s input is most welcome.
For me though shaving full body takes around 3 hours, I just can’t afford or bare to invisage doing that permantly. That’s just not an option for me and wouldn’t provide the velvety smooth skin free of hair follicles that I desire, I accept it works for you which is fine of course  Smile
