So early I was about to post more pictures in my progress section, and almost had a complete melt down. I was on the verge of tears just writing that post, I fought and fought, and came out victorious in suppressing the tears.

I am not sure what it was that triggered the emotions. There could be several factors, it could be because I won't able to wear my nighties anymore since I will soon be back home, but that doesn't seem like something really worth crying over. It could be because I am currently on a really low dose of PM and no other supplements as I took a break this week. I was hoping that just a pill a day would hopefully keep me somewhat balanced as I took this week long break from my regiment.

I think I am okay now... I REALLY hope I don't break down while in meetings with people today. Oh jeeze, that would be so embarrassing and a bit humiliating. Guess I'll find out how the rest of this day turns out. Dodgy

I'm sorry to hear you're feeling blue!
Could a lower dose be causing mood swings?
Anytime I lower my dose, I become... not well, to say the least.

I'm thinking that it may have just been an accumulation of things. I'm sure the lower dosage of PM did not help. I thought if I at least took a little I could avoid the potential mood swings. Guess not. Sad

Luckily went the rest of the day and no more incidents. Cool

Guess my body is getting used to the changes and not appreciating the deprivation of E. I'm not sure about taking any future breaks now. Sad
Fire and Ice > I think that you are just becoming more emotional which is not strange considering you are taking hormonally active substances. Anyway, girls are more emotional and while men tend to react with aggression when they are upset, women tend to be sad Wink. I've been experiencing it as well and got used to it.

Don't worry about your emotions and most important don't worry that 'something' will happen, for example that you will have kind of meltdown in front of other people. The more we worry about our emotions, the more we are actually prone to feel anxious and tears are often just symptom of anxiety. Just take your emotions as they are. Sometimes they are pleasant but sometimes they are not. Except rather less probable conditions you don't have to worry.

Positive change in me was that I feel even the positive emotions more intensively. Well, it is not like explosions of emotions but very pleasant feeling when I am happy and sometimes I am more prone to have 'tears of joy'. Blush

Maybe changing dosages of your supplements more slowly would help your brain to adjust. Maybe your are not reacting to dosage but to the pace of the change.

What helped me is to add progesterone cream. It somehow eased the extremely strong bouts of anxiety (which I had even before starting PM).

Of course if your emotions are getting over the top then lowering or withdrawing some supplements is to be considered.

Thank you very much Poly for your feedback and insight. I am feeling better now which is good. I just felt at odds with myself as I have not felt that in a very very long time. In my youth, I experienced many a mood swings, but I chalked that up to normal teens, and early twenties hormone balancing. Over time I was able to better control and suppress those emotions. Then suddenly out of the blue, just the posting of a picture was causing all this emotional build up which was very strange. It never flared up again while I was traveling, just the one day. So it was possibly just a combination of things that struck all at the right time. So, back to normal... for now. Tongue

Thank you for the feedback Mickie. I guess as we play with mother nature we are bound to have some interesting side effects. I suppose in essence getting to go through a sort of puberty all over again! Wink
From a female perspective, consider what you went through as something similar to PMS. It is normally triggered by the sudden drop in E and PG, right before menses. By lowering your dose of PM, you created a similar experience. Smile
