A few helpful hints to explain the English Emotional Scale for non English.

Chuffed: I have ascended from the mortal realm into a Godlike state. The world is mine to command!

Pretty good: I have discovered the secret of immortality. Oh, and I can fly.

Not too bad: Just remembered I bought shares in Apple in 1999.

Can't complain: Everything in life is on track and it's not raining.

Miffed: I have been declared bankrupt.

A bit down in the dumps: I am being mauled by a Bear.

I've been better: The sun is out and I am not in a pub garden. I have lost the will to live.

Nice message Huggs, I like it, (I'm smiling back at you my friend). Smile

Taking inspiration from your message, can I offer an international communique lol?

1) take a deep breath, close your eyes and let it out slowly
2) renew motivation and determination
3) grab control in your life, (kick its butt) Rolleyes
4) make difference for yourself and others. Big Grin
5) don't sweat the small stuft.

And of course......Smile, to corny huh? BlushuWink

It is amazing just how close English and Australian ways are sometimes. The only real difference is we don't use the word Chuffed, and I can't repeat in polite company what we say instead Big Grin

Aghhh... What have you done to me? What a mental image I have now. I won't be able to hear the word chuffed in the same way ever again! ;-)
Oh, pardon me. I am kinda geeky like that! I like word and language things. Let me suggest another image... Uh, nope! Nothing so far! Hehehe.
