Many have said when taking BO it's important to also take L-Tyrosine to raise one's body temperature. But I can't find any one saying how much or when to take it.

For example, do I take it once per day, or every time I take BO. If the later, do I take it at the same time as BO? 30 minutes before? Etc. And how much is a good amount to take?

Thanks!
My growth seemed to go backwards when taking N Acetyl L Tyrosine. Granted, only took for 4 days & maybe something else was the cause?

I'm not sure what that is. It was recommended I take L-Tyrosine, not N Acetyl. This is what I had ordered:

They are the same base, but here is the difference as written on Swansons site via link provided above.

"The amino acid L-tyrosine is a key component in the production of and transmission by neurotransmitters essential to mental well-being. Our new, advanced N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine supplement is a fast-acting form of this important amino that is better absorbed and more completely utilized than other supplemental L-tyrosine."
Thanks, but does anyone know the answer to the original question:

Despite research and multiple searches, I can't find the answer anywhere. Txs.

Given L-Tyrosine is a precursor to norepinephrine, the brain's version of adrenaline and may have a stimulant effect and might raise blood pressure. I would take it on an empty stomach either first thing in the morning at least 30 minutes before consuming any protein or at bed time. I have taken as much as 1000 mg at one time. It doesn't seem to do much for me. I've never really looked into its role in thyroid health, but I keep seeing advice to take it for thyroid support. I take 325 mg of prescription natural thyroid, 500-1000 mg of L-Tyrosine, and a good iodine supplement, and my temperature is seldom above 97.5F.
With L-Tyrosine, I can't seem to get up past a 97.6 temperature. I was wondering if maybe I should try to increase the dosage.

Some suggested kelp and it just arrived. Within 10 minutes my temperature shot up to 98.0 but did not go any higher and I believe that is still too low. Should I combine with L-Tyrosine or would that be too much?

If you can't get your temperature past 97.5, isn't it pointless to take BO? I thought it doesn't work unless it's past 98.2.
Despite my low body temp, BO did do something, at least initially. After several weeks, I had very oily skin, and my sex drive skyrocketed. The oily skin continued until I gave up after 4 or 5 months. I did get some soreness and the little lump behind my nipples, then the sex drive returned to normal, which means almost non-existent for me, and nothing more seemed to be happening with my breasts. I'm assuming everything returned to normal because of a feedback loop. So, while your mileage may vary, I'm not sure body temp is as important as we are led to believe. A basal temp of 97.8 may be sufficient.
New to all this, but the first time I read that body temperature has an impact on the effectiveness of BO, the first thing that crossed my mind (from my own personal experience) is that Alpha Lipoic Acid would likely do the trick if ever deciding to try BO. Had to eliminate ALA from a prior nootropic regimen as even a small amount would turn me into an oven and have me sweating buckets with minimal activity.
