So who's going out in full fem for Halloween? If you do, you should post pictures of your costume.
I go out in full fem mode almost every Halloween. Big Grin

I hardly ever get pictures though, so unless one of my friends posts a pic on facebook, I likely won't have one again.
This isn't a costume, it's a way of life.
I agree with WantAPair.
Wearing women clothes is who is I am. The sad part is that my physical gender does not match my emotional gender. I am changing both slowly, integrating women clothing and mannerisms into my daily life everywhere i can and feminizing my body with NBE.
Someday I hope to get the courage to come out to the world and have them say, DUH we knew that years ago.
Well, I tried to upload a few photos of me in my Hooter's uniform from Halloween but it says the file sizes were too big and I don't know how to make them smaller. Damn, I looked cute & hot if you don't mind me saying.

Do you have any friends that know and are okay with it? If so, maybe you can go out together with you in full fem and they can bolster you to do it and it'll at least gradually make you more comfortable to do it in public AND get people used to seeing you the way YOU want to be seen!
As for my statement, partially, it was a joke someone interviewing us, once, asked something about the band, I forget what the question was, but, one of my guitarists suddenly answered with, "It's not a band, it's a way of life!"), but, what I meant was that if someone around here in Small Town sees me en femme for Halloween, it's seen as a costume, then I continue to do it afterwards and they think I'm still in costume! As much as I'd LOVE to do it and have the freedom to do it, I don't want it to become a costume!
When playing in the bad, I would always wear a leotard, pantyhose and a mini skirt. Partly it was just because it worked for me to be able to play the way I play. In a minor way, it IS a costume, at least for the stage, but, there's more function than fashion going on, however, I'm also hoping that it'll open peoples' minds to be more accepting of a guy in a skirt and pantyhose in public, as well as more accepting of me in en femme!! It worked both ways at least 99% of time! Problem is, I never got the chance to do it here in my neighborhood!! Well, twice, but not that many people showed up for either of those gigs! So, around here in Yuppieburgh Junior, I'm not at all known for doing that! And, because I already stick out like a sore thumb, and a lot people here know me & My family (we've been here since 1936), it's gonna be pretty hard!
That's cools you're in a band. I was in one but had to quit for business travel. But I think it's awesome you could wear that while gigging. What about shoes? Any pics?

Being a drummer, and one that does LOTS of double bass drum work, shoes had to be pretty loose in the foot. For a while, I wore rotten sneakers. I mean, they were basically falling apart in the sole. Eventually, they became useless and I started using a pair of loafers that were in similar shape. I couldn't do just socks or bare feet because my toes would hang over the front of the pedals and fall asleep, or something.
As for a picture, I have one with me in a denim mini and pantyhose, but, for some reason, the guy in the band that posted the picture online decided to make it very dot-matrix-like, so, it's kind of hard to tell!! I'm also not sure it's small enough to post her, but I'll try. I'd normally wear a skater/scooter skirt to play drums. The skirt in this picture is way too tight for that!! There's a couple videos of me in a skirt, but, you can't see it because of the drums. You CAN see the leotard, though!

The second picture has me in a skirt and black Danskin tights waiting to go on stage, but, you can barely see the skirt, the third has me in a skirt at my singer's wake and a good friend of mine from another band hugging me, but, you can't really see the skirt because of the t-shirt I'm holding. It has my singer on it in action.

Same issue with photos, my phone and camera too files to big. But when I used a web cam the photo fit. I found my camera has a setting for this too.
