I wanted to do this progress thread on my hrt restart.  For anyone who hasn't read any of my posts, I started mtf transition in 2000 which was 15 years ago.  That was when I both started HRT and living full time.  I was self medicating for about 3 or 4 months on 4mg of estrofem pill from overseas and used some spiro for a short time and quit.  I decided it was time for me to start finding a therapist and an hrt doctor.  I found the therapist, however, there wasn't anyone at that time that would touch my case with a ten foot pole.  After a while I did find a doctor in a major hospital who did decide to prescribe me estradiol injections.  From there I was all set for a 2 1/2 years until the doc was transferred  out of his department.   No more hrt for me.  I quickly went back to my tried and true nbe forums  (this one ) and came back to taking herbals until present day.

This where I pick up my HRT continuation.
I've been on this current regimen (in my signature below) for 4 days now. I have excellent blood pressure lol (spiro). It's too soon of course, however I'll say that when I started, I was taking alot of herbal pills. I decided to stop them cold fish and start the meds same day. As a note, when I've run out of my nbe herbs, I tend to get cranky in a couple of days . This did happen, however it was short lived. I'm guessing I had a couple of days of estrofem in my system to balance it. At least that's my guess. I will post an update on my two week progress when that time arrives.
Great

Dont forget the photos

I started to notice late yesterday afternoon while looking in the mirror that there was actually something going on with my breast. I was wearing a bum around the house t - shirt as I normally do and realized that my boobies were a little more perky than usual. I took off my t-shirt to see what was up and behold, something I didn't notice even when on the herbals nor even the week before, they were indeed plumper and perkierr. Another thing, I've been losing weight to reach a target body fat index (not focusing on actual weight but size and appearance). I'm close to my target which is to get rid of the fat under my chin area and waist. I'm getting skinny now and being on a diuretic, I know it's not fluid retention. Other tan that, no tingles but they seem more sensitive and even ticklish to the touch.
I'm posting a couple of pictures to show you what I look like before. The first is just my general shape and the second is my breast size update. There is another post from me with my original pictures before starting the hormones on NBA. I'm not sure how to attach a link from my cell phone to that link.

I think I figured it out.

Just posting a couple of things that I've noticed happening with respect to my body changes after 11 days. First of all, I am currently on a weight loss regimen that I've worked on slowly for the last 2-3 months. I am almost a week out, maybe two from my goal. I have intended to loose all the fat from under my chin and jaw line as well as the fat around my waist. Overall when it's all done, I will have a low body fat percentage. This was intentional as I wanted to rid as much toxins and old testosterone and estrogen stores in my body fat.

As for hormones, the changes have come in subtle increments as expected. The first thing I will mention is the first week was my body getting used the new drugs. A little dizziness, comes and go, some temperature changes (not quite as strong as hot flashes). Going into the second week, I'm noticing some emotional ups and downs. It's easier for me to get set off on a pity party but I can also turn around and get cheery just as fast. My skin also stopped being oily, and this mornine I noticed in the mirror when applying makeup the the pores were getting less noticeable. My skin is feeling smoother, especially my face. I can feel razor burn easily, where as I could not previously. That's all for now. I'll post if some more drastic changes occur in the next coupale of weeks or so. Oh, I will start laser hair removal in the next week or two.
