So as the title suggests I am a bit perturbed and peeved at the moment. Due to recent events I will be taking a leave of absence from posting on BN. I am not sure for how long, I guess we will just have to wait and see.
So what brought this on? The catalyst being that without any notification one of my posts, "If you could, would you. If you can, do you?", was moved to this brand new obscure section on BN and was pretty much flagged adult oriented.
Now granted it had taken a much darker turn than what I had intended it to be, and if I had been asked I probably would not have minded that it got deleted. Instead my post was moved without my knowledge. I had to do a search to find what had happened to my post.
Now while the post had gone a bit vulgar for my tastes, I don't believe it was as bad as some posts I had seen in the past. I was going to say something, but I figured to each their own. I was just not going to participate on the direction it had gone.
If my post was going to be deemed as adult oriented, then what's next? All the picture posts? I mean come on, breasts are breasts, and some of the bio males on here have pretty feminine looking breasts. What of the bio female pictures, are those going to be moved too? Those are pretty adult oriented pictures. Perhaps then posting progress pictures will be banned or randomly moved because someone has deemed them too inappropriate.
There's a right way and a wrong way to do things, and feel the approach taken here was the wrong way. I feel like I've been singled out and was made the example. Was it deserved? That's a matter of opinion, and everyone's opinion differs. Perhaps a poll should have been cast asking the members here if anyone thought we needed a new adult section. Who knows, maybe I am blowing this way out of proportion, perhaps I am taking it too personal. Oh well.
So I bid most everyone on here a fond farewell. I appreciate all the support and comments that I have received over the past three and a half months. I hope that I will eventually get over this and start to contribute again to this community. If you care to chat with me, I am almost always signed into GDchat. I usually try to respond if someone says hello in the room, unless I am asleep or busy at work.
