It's an analogy of Hormone Receptors, just a different take on them,

The name Home Reception is an original title (me, shameless plug) Blush the radio analogy I can't take credit for. Why would any of this matter?. Simple, what you're trying to do with NBE (Herbals) and hormone receptors are interconnected.

Most hormones circulate in blood, coming into contact with essentially all cells. However, a given hormone usually affects only a limited number of cells, which are called target cells (this is where estrogen receptors correlate). A target cell responds to a hormone because it bears receptors for the hormone.

In other words, a particular cell is a target cell for a hormone if it contains functional receptors for that hormone, and cells which do not have such a receptor cannot be influenced directly by that hormone.

Analogy

Reception of a radio broadcast provides a good analogy. Everyone within range of a transmitter for National Public Radio is exposed to that signal (even if they don't contribute!). However, in order to be a NPR target and thus influenced directly by their broadcasts, you have to have a receiver tuned to that frequency.

Trust me, this is going someplace!......
So for a while I've been looking for a visual to help explain how receptors work, I think the next illustrations can shed some light on about how the statement " over burdening your estrogen receptors" or "your Estrogen receptors can only take so much", see if it helps:

Here's another one, even though it displays enzymes, it's primary description is how the receptors are filled upon activation and get locked.

Ultimately this ends up being the proper sequence,

Which is a bit more complicated, but refer back to the last two illustrations to make better sense.
Cool! I like the graphics.

So am I correct to say that there are estrogen receptors in the brains of gender variant men that are activated when phyto-estrogen molecules from PM are present in the bloodstream? That these TG brain cells become active and develop, bringing on the mental changes so many of us have reported?

Ok, I surrender, maybe there is some truth to it after all. Rolleyes "brain benefit", that's as far as I'll go!, I'm not a fan of "brain rewiring". Sorry no offense ya'all, it just feels like there's something wrong with my brain when that's mentioned.
I'm constantly rewiring my brain. It's called learning. It seems that a lot of my old brain wiring doesn't meet code anymore...LOL Big Grin

My question would be this, how long are those receptors activated for, and after they are expelled what happens, meaning the byproducts. Are they just excreted in waste or do they attach to other cells? (Cascade). So that's my next crusade, man I should have payed more attention in chem class!
Here's another, based on visualization you'd say, look at that!!, you can still fit more estrogen.

The structure configuration of PM is very similar to Estradiol (E2 or 17β-estradiol, also oestradiol) a sex hormone.
