I really wish I knew where all these newbies keep getting the idea that 2 weeks is enough to start noticing growth. When I joined the forum, the general consensus was that it takes 3-6 MONTHS to start noticing signs of growth, if there are signs. The general advice was to start with 1 capsule of Ainterol per day for the first week, then add another the second week. Repeat this until reaching a dose of 2000 mg daily. Continue taking for 3-6 months to see if this dose seems to be effective. If ramping up causes issues, take a step back for a while and try again. It took me months to get to 2000 mg because of bowel disturbances. After nearly a year, I still don't see much difference on the tape measure, but I just got 12 more bottles of Ainterol. If I still see nothing when they are gone, I'll either stop or try BO.
Thanks, everyone! All of this information has been helpful! I will use the current dosage for about a month to get adjusted to it and try getting up to 2000mg by the end of the second or third month, thanks!

Thanks again! Good luck, everyone!
Big Grin really the old F-cup cookie when researched was 2000 mg daily, which should be safe Cool

I also recommend medical supervision, especially if you have liver health issues. I see the doctor every 6 months for a blood analysis. I wouldn't go less than annually when medications are involved.

As far as how much PM to take per kilo of body weight, I'm not sure those guidelines apply when used for NBE. We typically exceed those recommendations to achieve breast growth.

Hi Clara, can I ask what type of things you are checking for in your blood?

A standard blood test measures dozens of compounds in your blood that give your doctor clues as to your overall health. For us HRT DIYers, checking the health of your liver and kidneys is very important. I have my blood checked twice a year.

Clara is it a case of being straight with your doctor about what you are doing (taking pm etc) or will they do the tests anyway? for ref im in the uk where we have a national health service, as thyroid problems run in the family i should probably go and get my blood checked (not done it in a while) would e and t levels be checked at the same time do you know? dont really know whether i should tell my doc what im up to or not

I haven't felt the need to tell my doctor up till now about my transgender personality and my growing breasts. I'm in the process of changing doctors now though, so I'm considering coming out to him or her since my total T level was recently tested as being well below normal for a man. My breast growth is becoming very apparent now, as well. Here in the U.S. a fasting blood test is standard procedure for a medical check up/physical, but I have to specifically ask for a T and/or E test as well as various other special tests, for example, Vitamin D.

Bobie, I too reside in the uk. You will have to particularly request a E and T level check as these are not a routine clinical test. You will almost certainly have to give a valid reason for the tests to be conducted.
If it's of any comfort to you, I made an appointment with my doctor earlier this week to discuss my GID and request to be put on HRT.
The outcome was as expected with the doctor referring me to an endocrinologist, it was conducted with sympathy and not the frightening experience I had feared.
Most surguries are very keen to only request blood checks that are necessary as they are charged to their NHS account.

Good luck and if there is any help you think I may be able to help with, please don't hesitate to ask.

Hugs
Heather
Thanks clara and heather

Yeah because I just had a physical and had blood tests done (found out that I'm deficient in Vitamin D). I mentioned things like checking my hormone levels, etc. but my physician wouldn't just authorized these blood tests simply because I want to, and I'm not at the point where I would say I'm thinking of DIY HRT. She would just change the subject or ask why.
