Hello,

I have been lurking for a few months and this is my first post. First some background. I am 64 and I take Tamsulosin and finasteride for the usual prostate issues (BPH) that happen around this age.
I started on FG a couple of months ago, first one cap 600 mg QAM then BID. Much to my surprise and delight I started noticing some fullness so I thought I would advance the process. Given my age and the BPH meds, I assumed that I was getting results with low doses of FG because of my lower androgen levels. BTY I have found the information here to be generally quite accurate and helpful.
Next I made an order to Natureday and started taking 10 drops BID in addition to the FG. This seemed to help, so I next ordered some caps from Natureday and took one of their caps QAM and one FG QPM, with the 10 drops BID. After reading here about PM I ordered some R1 from http://www.ainterol.us/ I took 1 cap QAM with the 10 drops BID and FG QPM and stopped the caps from Natureday. Soon I found that was having real issues with fatigue and I stopped everything for a while. Has anyone experienced this side effect?

I have noted some of the other side effects noted here. A reduction in interest to crossdress and less interest in porn. That was interesting. I sold one pair of my prostheses to a fellow in Florida and an old style UK nurse’s dress to a guy in Connecticut.

In the last week I restarted taking one cap R1 QPM rather than QAM and I think that may have helped a little with the fatigue. A few days ago I went up to 2 caps R1 QPM. My nipples are tender and larger, and there may be the beginning of something behind the nipples. That is great, but the fatigue seems to have increased too, and maybe I am more prone to headaches.

Any suggestions??

Many thanks for all your input.

Hi,

I'm in the same age range and have only taken PM for estrogen for the last 10 months. Until recently I was on a fairly high dose (6 x 500mg /day no more than one every 3 hours), but for the last month or so I find that 3 works for me. (I mainly use it to relieve symptoms of G.D., but I'm still growing on that dose).

I have not experienced the fatigue, but I do also take 2 x 500mg Maca daily, mainly to help maintain male function, but it may also help with fatigue, as it is claimed to be a "super food". (According to Wiki, it contains a near perfect nutrient profile, and Peruvians living at high altitudes subsist {or used to} mainly on that and potatoes as very little else grows there.)

One other thing may help - I'm one of the people badly affected by statins, experiencing mental confusion and severe fatigue. After I gave them up I learned that the biochemical process that they use to reduce cholesterol depletes Coenzyme Q10 which is an essential part of the process by which body cells get their energy.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coenzyme_Q1...a_blockers

From that point on I took CQ10 supplements and they certainly seem to do the trick for me - they may work for you too, especially if you take statins (which the med profession seem to be trying to push at pretty much everyone of our age now).

Good luck!

I counteract my fatigue with 5000 IU of vitamin D a day + a regiment of Vitamin B complex ( make sure it has B2 in it to help process the other vitamin b's) .. have felt pretty energetic since i started doing that. Recent studies have also shown that Vitamin D is also good for breast health.. (an added bonus)
