Hello all.

This question may sound a little odd but it's something I'm curious about.

During your NBE progress, has anyone noticed a change in the texture of their areola? Specifically, has your areola developed a soft, almost a velvet like feel to it?

I figure it's just another part of the feminization process but I'm wondering if this has happened with anyone else. I'm not complaining about it; it's just something that's been on my mind lately.
This is something that I have noticed as well. I don't know if I would use the word velvet to describe mine but when my nipples/areola are soft the area feels much softer to the touch.

I remember that effect. Lasted for a long time, until my nipples deflated back down and then they felt much like they did before I started NBE, perhaps just more sensitive.
Absolutely. soft, smooth, and yes velvet is the perfect word.
yap, i've noticed that too.

Do you remember how far along you were with NBE when this happened? Do you think not taking pm contributed to this?
I'm sorry, but I don't keep records of these things. I'd guess the nipple thing started within a month or so of starting PM. I really have no idea if the PM breaks I have taken have had anything to do with the nipple changes I have had. Based on my length of time doing this as compared to the length of time for GGs to go through the Tanner stages, I'd guess it was just time for the changes to happen for me. I can tell you that every time I start back on the PM, within 2 days my nipples again expand/inflate and get real soft for a while. After a few weeks like that they will inflate or not depending on things like temperature and stimulation.
I've noticed them being softer in general, but much more so since adding a small dose of FG along with the PM. They are noticably softer and a little puffier now. Maybe it has something to do with the prolactin or it could just be the 6 month mark on PM, or the switch to generously measured powdered PM, I don't know. lol

Things are going well now with the addition of FG, regardless of the reason. They're just damn sore, but I guess thats a good thing.

The left one has overtaken the right one, it has always been behind. I'm right handed so who knows...again I guess its good.

Apparently I just show up in your threads and give updates on myself now flame. Sorry, I suck. Big Grin

My breasts haven't been feeling sore at all lately. Maybe it's because of my cutting back from 3,000 to 2,000 mg of pm. I get the occasional tingly feeling, but that's it. It seems like I'm still making progress so I'm not too worried about it.

I don't mind. Cool

I imagine most of us don't speak too openly about our NBE progress in the real world, so it's all the more reason I think to give updates whenever possible on this forum.
In my case, still soft after 10 months, still stinging, aching and growing from time to time.
