I would suggest kicking the rc and wy except gor 1 week each month to simulate progesterone ramp. also i find that wy boiled to extract and added in a non greasy lotion is a great progest cream for thighs and hands but dont apply to breasts. good luckSmile

Hi Zoe and Dargona,

Why not apply to titas? and if there is a reason or difference and if ther is for male or female, I am female..not to put on titasBlush I thought no matter where you put it it will be in your system and do what it does..or putting on titas is to direct contact and will overload..
I'm not overly sure about the direct negative effects of applying progesterone onto breasts, but the theory is that it gets in the way of estrogen doing its job, possibly even reversing it. I can't say as to how much of a difference applying it to the hands/thighs really makes but I've always followed advice and used it on those areas.

Red Clover is roughly a 50/50 mix of Estrogen and Progesterone, while Wild Yam is mainly a progesterone (As far as I know). In a genetic female, they don't produce much progesterone until a while into puberty after some breast growth, and only once a month during ovulation (period). We can argue which timing to use to get the best results, but it's really up in the air as to how it all fits in and works. However, if we are trying to simulate progesterone input as if we were genetic females then we would produce (dose) it once a month during our "cycle"
This is a graph that I roughly translated from a mathematical analysis and survey on the levels of Estrogen and Progesterone within genetic females.

It's been adapted to reflect how genetic males could possibly dose to match. I designed the graphs on a relative scale in which you find a low level base-dose (1x) and compare the multiplier doses to that. At one point I was literally taking 6000mg of PM a day (1000mg) being my base 1x dose. I didn't have any negative effects that I noticed but I feel that doing this a lot would be both expensive and possibly inefficient so I generally scale my doses logarithmically (don't mind me) up to 3000mg of PM or maybe a slight bit more.

Oh..very interesting graph...I didnt realize that estrogen goes up and down at 2 points..good to know..hmmm.. I knew progesterone went up at only one point.. I am wondering at my age (47 soon 48 in a few months) that I may have to put progesterone in my regimen but my thought is just the cream or both that and WY ..thank you for the reply..Sorry Zoe for hijacking your thread..maybe it will help you too..

As for the estrogen double ramp, there are other graphs floating around on the boards, one from Pansy-Mae that suggests the 2nd estrogen ramp/hill isn't as defined and significant as the one in my chart. Which one is right? I'm not sure Smile They could potentially both be right depending on the person of group of individuals in which the analysis was made. The data I took was from a mathematical thesis(algorithms and formulas) which matched up to their specific set of real-world data. I can't say that the test/info is 100% valid, but it seemed reasonable enough!

As for the WY/Progest I personally use a natural progesterone cream made by NOW products, which contains Wild Yam as one of its main ingredients so I'm no longer mixing my own. I suggested the extraction of WY to make cream if you don't have access to a progesterone cream. I don't think it would hurt to take WY internally -- just like everything else they say that taking these hormones internally will provide more of an "overall" effect compared to applying them directly in order to effect a particular location. Lucille Sorelle, probably hijacked info from members of this forum laid out a recipe for "boobie batter" which was a mix of fg/wy extract if I'm remembering correctly. I used to apply this cream to my breasts before I started PM -- sometimes plain FG cream, sometimes plain WY.. or a mix of both. These creams stink and people at work said I smelled like pancakes all the time =D

When I started taking PM, I stopped applying WY to my breasts because I realized it was a progesterone, and instead began either dry-massaging and eventually my current and favorite: I apply cocoa butter with vitamin E made by Palmers http://www.amazon.com/Palmers-Cocoa-Butt...B0009F3O8Q using a hybrid(chi massage with breast-slapping)

The breast slapping hybrid involves me crossing my hands over to the opposite breasts and lightly flapping/slapping my breasts inward together. I also do this underneath my breasts as well. While massaging I also use some of the pump of cream on my arms/pits to smooth out marks and my abdomen as well, but leave most of the cream for the breasts.
Dragona,

Hmmm. Very interesting graph and something to seriously consider. Makes sense. Must have missed that part of biology-sex Ed. class. Thanks so much for the info. So much to learn.

Oh, and Beachbumbythesea, I am not hijacked, merely enjoying the ride. Grateful for the added education, very helpful.

Best wishes,

Zoe

I seem to have begun some changes. Is this usual after only 7 or so weeks? Am following a very usual program but have noticed extreme tenderness. When driving, my seat belt across my right side is painful and I have to pull it away as I drive. Also, my usual posture as driving is to place my left arm on the ledge under the window. I definitely sense the flesh jiggle if I hit a rough spot on the road. I hope this is a good sign. I have no noticeable growth, but certainly something is going on.

Insights of early experiences would be welcome and maybe encouraging.

Best wishes,

Zoe
These are excellent signs. You are growing! The timeframe is not unusual, 7 weeks is long enough for real action to get underway. Congratulations!
sfem,

Thanks for the encouragement. I am so anxious to see how things progress. Quite the adventure!

Best wishes,

Zoe
