Hi Ian, I'm happy you've concluded most of your history with Claire. It's been an insightful journey to read, thank you for sharing. There's one key takeaway that I really appreciated from Claire was her statement about “telling your body that you love it”, that's impactful imho. TBH, reading your thread makes me think you experienced symptoms like those seen in DES sons.

Sending my best regards Ian,  Hug

Not wanting to derail this important thread but Lotus that is something I've never heard of before and on looking it up it's just possible it has some relevance to me. Sad

Hi Ian and Wellworm, I've looked at the few studies covering DES (Diethylstilbestrol), for our interests the UK study attached below is solid. I'm also tracking how DES relates to cancer, so far I haven't found a link to Leukemia. Since I posted this article one of my sisters (who we almost lost a couple was diagnosed with congestive heart failure, CHF), currently, she's on the heart transplant list. Even if she is able to get a transplant it'll buy her a few more years. She was exposed to diethylstilbestrol too.

In my own personal experience my mother was given Diethylstilbestrol in 1959 before I was born. This medication (DES) was given to expectant mothers with a history of miscarriages. Years later published studies started appearing from the effects of DES. Some people (pharmaceutical special interest?) doubted the validity of the science related to DES, but I don't having lived through it along with my sisters (all having autoimmune diseases). Check it out, see if anything listed in the studies fits in your case? If not, we keep looking until we find something logical.

Firstly to everyone thanks for such kind words it means a lot ot me.
Secondly Lotus no are ok, if it helps someone then lets embrace it, having been on these therapy session sit has taught me about love and respect for our fellow man.

Finally when I saw C: at the next session I told her about my homework regarding looking at people in shops, well it was certainly a good session because what she asked me and told will HELP everyone on here, so my dear friends wait for section or part 11. Like I said it has changed my perspective of others, then in the last part number 12 that will resonate with everyone on here about breast growth, crikey it left me flabergasted.

Hi All, We are nearing the end of this saga, this next bit I have tried to cut down, there was a lot more to it but i think it best to edit it.

Part Eleven Dealing with (BD)

I missed a couple of sessions due to a slight wobble, I felt I could not go and talk, she was very understanding and asked me to continue with the mantra and keep looking at people.
A couple of weeks later I went back, What a session it turned out to be.

C: Do you use social media like X or Facebook or other media platforms. M: No, it’s not for me. C: Do you read the papers or magazines. M: No, I get all my news and info off the internet. papers are full of full of false news.
C: Do you watch adverts on TV (Commercials) M: Sometimes when I have no choice

Okay let me explain why I asked these questions.

How many times do you see very attractive men and women advertising beauty products.
When you look at the packaging you see attractive people advertising these products.
How many times do you see holidays advertised with the idea family.
Reality shows have contestants who look stunning with all the white teeth and perfect figures.

All cleverly edited with smart advertising to entice the buyer, the people on the advertisements, even celebrities are digitally enhanced in magazines. This is the fake world, they get you to believe that this is normal and along the way most of us fall into that trap.

C: Let’s get back to your homework. I asked you to look at people when you went shopping, what did you notice about these people, did you spot anything out of the ordinary.
M: No not really, they just looked like ordinary folk.
C: Exactly they look quite normal to you and to everyone else, today’s society does not see others unless that person has something that stands out. We are all to engrossed with our own life to notice others, Society today has no time for each other, so we do not see each other as we once did. Even those with a physical defect we tend to avert our eyes, today’s modern world has very little tolerance for others, so why would they even notice Ian as he walks past them.

C: We talked about advertising photos, the media and companies are obsessed with perfection, this is a form of manipulation of the mind, it convinces us that we need to be perfect and must adhere to their forced image, this is a false image.
C: Companies advertise on social media and target Teenagers by shaming them into buying their products. Adverts are subliminal and will lure you into a false sense that this is the normal way for us to look, you then buy their products, itt is clever marketing but can and does change the way we think and how we see ourselves.

C: I am not saying that there are not people who are blessed with good looks, I assure you they are the exception than the norm but again that is evolution and not the norm.
C: I hope that by now you are getting an idea in what I am trying to say to you. M: Yes, I know where you are going with this.
C: In your case looking at you and if I was asked to describe you, I would say you are normal commensurate with your age, we all fill out as we get older, but the media says that is wrong.

C: I tell all my clients to stop using social media, it contains trolls who have nothing better to do than abuse people, if you stop then the abuse will stop, you will only get abuse if you continue to post photos of your body. Basically, remove the exposure and they move onto someone else.

C: I want you to look in the mirror, I cannot say stop because you won’t, but when you do look into that mirror, repeat that mantra I gave you, you will learn to love that body.
C: You mentioned that the size of your penis was a mess, that was part of what you hated about your body, again manipulation by the media it says men’s penis should be a certain size again body shaming, media says you cannot satisfy a woman if it is not big enough, that is wrong, as we mentioned before there are other ways to satisfy your wife, partner or boyfriend.

Do you know that science has proven beyond all doubt that the average size of an erect penis is 5.1 inches or 12.9cm, a client once asked my why in porn films the men have large penis, I told him that it is purely for photographic reasons, if it was of normal size then it would be difficult to film, it is also what our minds have been conditioned to accept that this is normal, do you realise that many women do not like big penis as it can hurt.

Going back to your problem, due to no fault of your own your penis was medically circumcised at birth also genetics played a role in this, in fact Ian you should be proud of your achievements.
M: Why do you say that.
C: You have done something wonderful, you helped create life in the form of your son, there are thousands of men who cannot do that. It as we have said, it is part of your body that you will start to love, this is what I want you do.

Men stand up to urinate, I want you to say to your penis whilst urinating, thank you because you are allowing the toxins to leave my body, you are doing me a great service you are looking after me, that way you will come to accept that it is helping and playing a vital role in your life it is doing a useful needy task.

C: When you retire to bed close your eyes and think about your happy time, allow sleep to take over, it is a form of meditation which will calm your mind and help with the healing process.

Finally, genetics and evolution play a massive part in how we develop, from Neanderthals to today’s modern society, beauty has been forced upon us by the media, humans love to brag especially men, we all need to step away from this macho image and accept what we are, all these looks cannot be achieved without cosmetic intervention all in the name of VANITY.

I cannot cure you, but hopefully I have given you the tools to ease your concerns and help you come to terms that humans are fallible, nature is not perfect.

Please try to continue with your programme and if you need any help, please ring I am here for you, but if you agree I would like to see you in three months’ time.

At your next session we will discuss your desire to grow female breast and how that has formed part of your Dysmorphia because again genetics play a massive part of you.

Wow, where to start.
Firstly thanks Ian, that is a very brave thing you have done, going to therapy isn't easy to start with but, retelling it to us is something else.

I haven't been around here for a while because I too have had a wobble, and I'm looking to find a therapist I can only hope I find one as good as yours.

This is going to be well read thread, you have done a good thing,  looking forward to the next part.
