#1
I was considering that I had some issues with my thyroid, sluggish, metabolism low, etc. so I ordered the following supplement:

NOW Thyroid Energy,90 Veg Capsules (amazon)

Ingredients

Vitamin B-6 (from Pyndoxine HCl), Folate (as Folic Acid), Vitamin B-12 (as Methylcobalamin), Iodine (from Potassium Iodide), Zinc (from L-Optizinc® - Zinc L-Methionine Complex), Selenium (from L-Selenomethionine) (Yeast-Free), Copper (from Copper Amino Acid Chelate), L-Tyrosine (Free-Form), Irish Moss (Chondius Crispus) (Thallus), Guggul (Commiphora mukul) (myrrh Resinous Sap) Standardized Extract (min. 2.5% Guggulsterones), Organic Kelp (Laminaria digitata) (Whole Plant), Ashwagandha (Witharia sommifera) (Root) Standardized Extract (min. 4.5% Withanolides), Concentrace® Trace Minerals, Other Ingredients: Cellulose (capsule), Magnesium Stearate (vegetable source), Cellulose and Silica. Contains no sugar, salt, wheat, gluten, soy, milk, egg or preservatives.

on day 1, I had noticeable aches in both breasts. also daily  continued aches and "feeling of fullness/awareness " of them. nipples sensitive.

Not sure if there is any particular reason or if this is a one-off side effect.
just thought I would throw it out there for people to investigate.

If thyroid is low, it affects all body systems.  It is best to get tested for thyroid function - T4 and TSH for a start.  If borderline low, and your doc doesn't want to give thyroid supplement, go to integrative doctor who aims for optimal levels.

Guesswork on your part is no good.  Even thyroid medical experts don't agree on many points of thyroid care.  No good dosing yourself with iodine either.  In many people, excess iodine can cause Hashimoto's thyroiditis.  Best to just get prescription for porcine/bovine whole glandular, to maintain optimal thyroid hormone.  This is underlying framework for letting the rest of your body's systems do their job, not least of which, your heart.
