Are males staying male being scared away from this site?

#11

Fiery?, lol I thought my response was tame (no matter), look I get it, I was in the males staying males camp for a long time (I believe I stated i would never transtion too)...i even posted a thread asking " what happened to NBE? " because it seemed more people were seeking transition at that time. So what changed?, if I knew that answer I'd be a shrink.

I don't make my transtion a religon, nor do I force it on anyone....which other mtf's here don't either. Steer past transphobia, I put up with things I don't like here too. On the flip side of things, before males joined BN there was huge objections to males being on the female forum, let's not let intolerance ruin the forum experience.

You can use the ignore option (available in the control panel) if so desired.

I don't think you can call me intolerant if I suggest that "hey sister" and "speak with a gender specialist" shouldn't be the first things said to people joining a forum for males growing breasts.
If a person joined one year ago they would mostly see the "genetic male personal programs" thread and "introduce yourself" thread, today they are a bit lost between "synthetic hormones", "hormone therapy" and "transgender".
I am far from being transphbic. I just look at today's topics list and see that a newcomer man wanting to grow boobs would probably think that this is a TS priented website, and believe it or not CDs and MsMs are frequently bounced out of such websites because they aren't "trans enough".

Anyway, I think that my bottom line request is that MsM remain able to talk about being guys with growing boobs without being pushed to consider HRT. They all know that HRT is there, but most of those that came here (and went) didn't want to, or couldn't, use HRT.

Someone recently wrote a post about being disregarded on a TS website because she wasn't decided enough on her transition. Being a guy that has no interest whatsoever in transition, that's the way I feel when someone suggest I see a gender therapist.

I don't think that this thread is bad for the site. If anything, it may help someone remember that transition is not for everyone. Feel free to delete if for any reason you find it offensive.

Please pm me with specific threads/posts.

They would SEE there's 16 other sections not relating to trans/transtion....as a opposed to the 3 you mention, (people can judge for themselves though).

I disagree, no one's been bounced here.....unless they're a troll.

I can understand this, I don't think I'd like to hear go see a gender therapist if I'm MSM (aka: males staying males). So maybe folks should be aware of saying things that may offend each other's status.

Have you addressed this issue with any person(s) here?...(other than here).

I don't find it offensive.

I think some ask that question (are you transitioning) as they are genuinely curious about people's experiences, but have to agree, that it might be a bit much for some who would be discouraged to pursue their budding interests in growing breasts if they are given the impression that more than that is sort of assumed, expected or a given.

The reason most seasoned peeps here ask "Are you Transitioning" is for a real reason.......   If a guy has a fetish only curiosity and is here for kicks, starting flame wars or to look at pics, I personally do not have any time or interest in that person...

If a person is only interested in growing boobs, other than being CD with no interest of going on the other side YET....  Then you can suggest the herb threads only to begin with...

But, if a person is truly interested in turning in his man card, HRT is the best and safest if under supervision of a doctor...  Why waste this person's time posting a URL to an herb thread???

And just because someone is going to fully transition, they probably started with herbs and would have tons of knowledge or be able to direct that person to a more experienced member for help.   I just think too many people are making a mountain out of a mole hill...   Just cause I ask someone how cold it is outside don't mean I am trying to sell that person coat and gloves......  It could just mean I am genuinely curious.

There is a streak of truth in your thoughts SB....

Not only for the reason of numbers, but how many different ways can you describe the problems of hiding your growing breasts under a shirt??  Or how many different stories, I mean truly different stories of wives either going along with her guy, maybe encouraging him to grow breasts or purely have a hissy fit over it??   Maybe 3 stories in each category, and then it's just repeated......

So, the subject itself is very limiting in it's scope, IMO.

@Lotus if it's a matter of numbers, then how many HRT stories can you read that are actually different from each other? Repetition is not bad for any thread, surely it's not for MsM because the sense of community given by more people in our same situation give us the courage to walk the path.

As soon as I have some time to collect the links of the posts I mentioned I will PM you.
Keep in mind that I don't doubt the good intentions of those that posted. It's just an indication of how things are moving away from MsM.
One stupid example is when I used "tits" in the title of a post and then I had to edit it because one (or more) TS person found it offensive. I have no problem in rewording, but it's a sign of how the mentality has changed.

This is an interesting thread.  There is a chat channel used by Breastnexum users which I've been on a time or two.  Its lovely to meet the girls on there and they give me a really warm welcome, but in that environment its even more starkly obvious there are two different communities here.  With different sets of interests, different things they want to talk about.  That doesnt stop us inhabiting this shared space in a spirit of love and friendship.  Perhaps we males-staying-male should have a place where we can hang out and chat over the things on our minds.

There are perhaps even more sets of goals for people that join this site.

Although I am transgender, I don't want to go full time right now, or anytime soon, and for now at least am content living life being viewed by most people as a somewhat feminine guy with small breasts.

I actually think I'm a bit in both camps. While I don't exactly see myself as a guy, I do want to stay male in some ways. I actually like having sex like guys have it, it seems almost taboo to talk about that on some trans sites. I kind of like my muscles also.

I've been trying to achieve this balance and mostly have through herbals, and welcome the discussion MsM offer on these areas I have in common.

Oh my gosh Paula

me too

I like boytool and I like my muscles

Perhaps we should really complicate matters and have a

SEMI TRANSITIONING SECTION ?
