You can't go wrong by doing both kegels and squats. Deep squats are good without any weights. Deep squats with weights may hurt the knees. That's why most of the squat lessons recommend a 90 degree angle between the thighs and the calves. So the thighs are horizontal than at an acute angle. Kegels without any tool will always increase the flow of energy in the body since it flows from Root Chakra. It is good to do it wherever you are. You just feel the flow of energy instantly, and it feels good. I do it everyday. I also do squats twice/week with heavy weights. POM
