It could mean derision. It could mean mockery - isolation. Isolation is the real gift. All the others are a test of your endurance, of how much you really want to do it. And, you'll do it, despite rejection and the worst odds. And it will be better than anything else you can imagine. If you're going to try, go all the way. There is no other feeling like that. You will be alone with the gods, and the nights will flame with fire. You will ride life straight to perfect laughter. It is the only good fight there is.

And men are nothing without gods-Poseidon
Nice, been a while since I have seen that one.

Well, when Odysseus claimed that he was the one that conquered Troy, that surely angered Poseidon. He punished him for the next 10 years with so much hardship that he could not bear anymore, and then he asked "Oh, Poseidon what do you want from me, and Poseidon replied, admit that men are nothing without gods. And Odysseus did. and then returned home finally. And how arrogant men are that they always credit the victories to themselves even up to today!!! What a creature men are?

So then, when you're in the way of waking up, and finding out who you really are, what you do is what the whole universe is doing at the place you call here and now. You are something that the whole universe is doing in the same way that a wave is something that the whole ocean is doing ... The real you is not a puppet which life pushes around; the real, deep down you is the whole universe.

This is what I found out about religion: it gives you courage to make the decisions you must make in a crisis, and then the confidence to leave the result to a higher power. Only by trust in God can a man carrying responsibility find repose. -- Dwight Eisenhower
Although I agree with Mr. Eisenhower, but I believe organized religions have created chaos among men in the name of God.
