Mind and Body

Politeness usually begins at home or it doesn’t begin at all. Napoleon Hill

Politeness to others is usually born out of respect for the individual, which you learn as a child. When you are treated with respect by other members of the family, you learn to respect them as well. The self-esteem that results from being recognized as a unique person by the people who matter most to you helps you develop the confidence necessary to succeed later in life. Politeness and consideration for others are habits that — once developed — usually stay with you for a lifetime. While common courtesy may seem relatively insignificant in the grand scheme of things, it is a reflection of more basic values. More important, if you develop the habit of respecting others, you are likely to command respect from them.

Following is from someone that I am familiar with her writing for the last decade!!! I do endorse most of her writing-POM

Dear Friends,
This past winter I was busy writing and recording some guided meditations for my readers. I'm happy to introduce the first in the series, Releasing Fire Meditation. Everywhere I look lately I'm being given signs about letting go and releasing, so it seems very synchronistic that my first offering is a releasing meditation. I think the reason letting go is coming up so much is because we are all at the place and level where learning to release is an important next step in our conscious evolution together. We are all in the same boat, going through the same things; our issues simply have different packaging. It is so very important as we move into higher energies in our evolution to let go of what is not for our highest good. Allow for more positive and loving feelings to take up residence in your soul space by clearing out what is weighing you down and no longer needed in your life.

Most of my meditations will start with a few words about what the mediation is about, and then we move right into some relaxing breaths to help get you settled. As the journey begins with the fire meditation, I guide you through the woods to a campfire where we begin the work of releasing what no longer serves you. Working with the fire is powerful, and I take a lot of time here for releasing. When the work is finished, I guide you back out of the woods and offer some closing comments. A lovely music bed accompanies this meditation to further your relaxation process.

The writing and recording of my guided meditations are all done using ritual and sacredness and with much help from higher energies. I have designed this mediation so that you can go at your own pace; for example, you can go really deep and powerful, or stay on the surface until you are comfortable enough to try and go deeper. Everybody will have their own unique experience, and there is never a right or wrong when you have finished the meditation. You get what you need in that moment of time.

I look forward to sharing more meditations with you in the future. Some will be guided meditations, some will be affirmations, and others will be clearing and relaxing work. It truly is an honor to be able to produce these healing downloads for you.

Be well,

Heart is not judged by how much you love, but, by how much you are loved by others. Wizard of the OZ-the movie.

The men who build the future are those who know that greater things are yet to come, and that they themselves will help bring them about. Their minds are illuminated by the blazing sun of hope. They never stop to doubt. They haven't time. -- Melvin Evans

Common Courtesy
Small Gestures Make a Big Difference
by Madisyn Taylor

Common courtesy is a small gesture that makes a big difference and should be practiced as often as possible.
......................................
When you are out in the world, remember to be aware of others, lend your hand when one is needed, and give this help without an ulterior motive. Through these small actions, you make this world a better place in which to live.
