OMG I`m soooo excited!!!

I was talking with a friend of mine last night and he mentioned that was a job going really local to me at a charity shop, they need a shop assistant.
So this morning I went there (smart/casual) and asked about the Job, I was given a job application form to fill in, so i said thanks and went home to fill it in, it needed References from 2 people that know me that aren`t familiy or related.
as luck would have it, my friend from the night before, texted me and said that job`s still open, I told him "I know, I`m filling the application form now, since you`re just round the corner pop in and help me fill out the one section", so he did.
then I texted a girl friend who`s the manageress of the shop next door to the one I`ll be working at, and she did the other section!
then off I go back to where I`ll be working and hand it in. the guy said he`s the assistant manager and he`ll hand my form over to the manager on monday, and then call me for an interview!!!!  

I`v  never done anything like this before in my life and certainly not as Myself, all the jobs I`v had before (even the one I have now) have never been Public, it`s always been behind the scenes as it were (workshops etc...), I`v always wanted to work in a shop, and now it looks like I`ll get my chance!

hehehe it was quite funny actually because I had to tell my friend Nicky, that my Real name is Katherine if they call and ask about me, she`s only ever known me as Katie LOL. xx

it`s certainly not impossible! this is in my home town that I grew up in, i`ll likely be meeting dozens of people that I usded to know, and my father in law already knows and even refers to me as Katie now, he`s even seen me, albeit through the car window, he`s fine with it.
I must admit there is a part of that`s Soooo intruiged as to how I`m going to handle all these inevitable situations, but I know I will and it kinda makes it all the more exciting!  

"He" (old me) would Never even have Dreamed of doing such a thing, always very shy and Zero confidence unless he`d had half a bottle of something before even going out the house!   I think he was an idiot personally! LOL xx

Break a leg Katie dear, or whatever term is correct for good luck!  With you turning so many new leafs in your life, I think this could be a great move for you.

I agree, I think it`s exactly what I need too, since transitioning I actually feel ALIVE for the first time since I was a little girl, it`s really quite Magical! xx
