I've been on HRT for a good couple years now, as some of you may remember.
Unfortunately, I've yet to see a SINGLE INSIGNIFICANT CHANGE.

My program is as follows:

100 mg   Spironolactone in the morning then again in the evening
2 mg      Oral Estradiol in the morning
.05 mg    Estrogen Patch changed weekly

I've been on these specific doses for almost a year now, and have not had a single change.
What the hell am I doing wrong, and should I slap my Endo or not?
Chop the boys off ?

Maybe massage, binural breast growth meditation, vacuum pump, cupping vacuum, and snakebites.
I've tried snake bites, massage, binaural beats as well as isochronic tones, and am far too broke for a noogleberry or cheap chinese equivalent that would likely cause injury. Sad
I read a story about a guy that was on HRT for a year with absolutely no results. He had to up his dose to 8mg before anything happened, although once it did, it happened fast.

So don't feel bad. Apparently it happens.
That sounds like something that should give me some semblance of hope, but my endo won't go any higher with the oral E. He doesn't like the risks, but he's not the one taking it.  Angry

If the purpose of your Endo is to help you reach your goals, then he isn't doing his job.  Perhaps you should consider a new Endo.

Just what does he consider the risks of a higher dose of E?

My Endo says any higher than 2mg of oral E greatly increases the risk of blood clots, stroke, and cancers.

He also likes to throw it in my face that helping me reach my goals is already going against his Hippocratical Oath.

I have also mentioned before that I would rather be a dead woman than live the rest of my life in a man's body.

We've asked, please remind us: Why can't you get a new Endo?

My apologies, I was in such a fluster over my endo, that I forgot to answer that question...

The endocrinologist I see is the ONLY endo in the area, and the next hospital over is about 15 miles away. I have no transportation, nor does my low population area have any form of public transportation. A taxi there would cost me $18 each way...
