Here is a link which has English subtitles if anyone is interested.  The Dominican Republic doctor blames it on genetics and inbreeding.  
However, it is interesting to hear them talk about the stress of having your body developing into the body of the opposite sex.  So true.

The original? I'm not sure the of the whole backstory to that or that person's experience (I'm sure some do).

That is cheryl, a member from the old site, she ended up transitioning then dropped off the radar, no one has heard from her in quite some time.
